Tenants left 30/9/23.. The 12th person (since Sept 29th) not dealing with my issue.. Previously pre-payment meters, but eventually mode changed to credit but I need power in empty house, I'm paying for it (standing charges since 1/10) post tenancy as a customer, Scottish Power are contracted to provide it, but because the property is currently empty, they won't do an 'Off Supply' visit, not an emergency one (coz it's unoccupied) or even a booked one (coz it's unoccupied) 🤦‍♂️
They made me get an electrician out (£90) to confirm there's no fault after the meter and they've accepted the problem is before the meter.. What am I supposed to do, so complaint # 8394416605 has gone in, which could take 56 days to complete during winter!!

I can't do any work until either a tenant or me moves in (so no evening viewings either), then on the day someone moves in, they call SP and an 'emergency off supply' call out within 4 hours is done. I offered to meet them at the property but no. Totally unworkable.

NRLA needs to put pressure on Offgem to make 'Landlords' a separate category for all things logistic. We're not 'moving out' and we're not 'moving in', but they just don't know how to deal with us. 🤷‍♂️
