Hi, I have tenants 2 months away from the end of their tenancy who've been paying £675 pm for their 3 bed property in Crewe. They are on LHA rent support, however the LHA rent level for a 3 bed in Crewe is £895. I want to raise the rent to this level but am unsure if this is something the tenant could update their LHA payment to cover. Are there any percentage increase caps I should be aware of? I don't want to make the tenant leave but naturally want the rent to be close to market rates - what do they have to do if I give them a rental increase?
