I've sold one flat earlier this year and another will be coming vacant when the lovely tenants move into their first purchased property.  Rents and demand are good in this area but yield still about 5% net of expense and before tax.  I can get this without the hassle and risk of being a landlord and every day I read of more impositions upon us and things are unlikely to be easier when there is a change of government.   Very little cgt to consider on this property, sadly.

So what are fellow lls doing?
